Location. We could walk on the beach and they had fire pits lit at sunset with chairs ti sit around.

It was close to Hearst Castle., restaraunt on site and restaurants across the street. Avoid Big Sur Cafe was not good. Liquor store across the street. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean and good size. Two swimming pools, a third inside pool is still closed. The giant chess,checker and corn whole games outside were nice and the out side fire pits where amazing. Access to beach. Staff was super nic, lobby had free coffee.

Location is wonderful, and shared amenities with the Cavalier is the big perk. My kids liked the pool, and we had smores by the fire pits.

I did like all the stuff that was offered. I wish the heated pool was a little bit more warm, but I liked it. Staff was amazing.

The fire on the beach was wonderful. There should have been more wood available Sunday evening. The bathroom was very large and nice. The bed was comfortable.

The price was great.. It was clean the staff was very nice and helpful. The pool had nice warm water, it was nice to get into the jacuzzi and into the pool with out it feeling to cold. Thank you

Right on the beach, lotsa outdoor games, the fire pits were great! Showers had great water pressure, plenty of clean towels. Soda machine works.

Looked k like homeless people lived there the carpet was disgusting and smelled horrible would not stay there again paid far too much

Great location on the coast with beach access and restaurant. Clean, quiet, comfortable room with ocean view. Very close to the Hearst Castle park and elephant seal beach. Hope to vist area again soon.

I love the Sands and its location to the beach. The beds are incredibly comfortable and staff is always very friendly. The nightly bonfires in the fire pits are exceptional. We always have a great time staying at the sands.

The location was right on the ocean and had lots of area to explore while still being on the property. Hotel staff were all very pleasant, quickly responded to requests and actually smiled.

very spacious room, disabled shower though floor very slippery once wet from shower. Fire pits made the stay we loved watching the sunset by the fire.

We enjoy this location very much. Like that it is pet friendly, nearby eateries, and convenient store. Also staying right on the cliffs, it’s great to listen to the waves all day and night.
